The Defensor humidifiers work according to the evaporation principle with minimal energy consumption. The devices are available either with a 20 l water reservoir (easy to remove, mobile, easy refilling) or with a fixed water connection (refilling is not required). A built-in humidistat guarantees a constant control of the current humidity in the room.
With the standard summer filter set, the device cleans the humidified air of fine dust particles, pollen and the like. A built-in sensor checks ambient relative humidity. Optionally, an external wireless humidity sensor can be used, which can also control several PH15 devices. This humidifier can also be operated with demineralized water.
Museums appreciate the low maintenance and ease of cleaning of the Defensor units. The water tank only releases the amount of water necessary for moistening. This "fresh water principle" reduces germination to a minimum.
Note: The air is sucked in at the top of this unit and blown over both long sides moistened into the room. The distance to the wall should therefore be at least 15 cm.
Options
- Fixed water connection (Defensor PH15 A): The device can be connected directly to a water supply, there is no need to fill the water tank. Incl. Aqua stop. (Water connection: outer Ø 12 mm, allowable water pressure: 0.5 ... 6 bar, allowable water temperature: 5° C ... 40° C).
- Silver ionization: Water ionization to prevent germ growth. Depending on the water hardness and operating hours, the rods will last about 2 years
- Wireless hygrostat: In addition to the built-in humidity sensor for monitoring air humidity at a distance from the humidifier. Four different channels freely selectable, several devices can be controlled simultaneously. Range: 25 m.
- Upon request PH15 can be equipped with two water tanks 10 l (instead of one tank 20 l). This feature cannot be combined with silver ionization. Please contact us for prices and delivery time.
