The Dehumid HP 50 dehumidifier operates like an air conditioner that has both its hot and cold coils in the same box. A fan draws the room's air over the cold coil of the air conditioner in order to bring its temperature below the dew point. The condensed water is collected in a tank. Then the cold but dry air is passed through the hot coil to heat it back up to its original temperature and fed back into the room.
For more accurate measurements, the HP 50 dehumidifier can also be fitted with an external hygrostat, which transmits the measurements via radio control. The radio hygrostat also enables combined operation with the B 500 Professional dehumidifier. This allows the humidity in a room to be kept at a certain level (moisture passage) and humidification and dehumidification is automatically controlled via a common measuring point without overlaps.
The Dehumid HP 50 can also be used with direct run down or a condensate pump.
