Nitrogen Generator NitroFlow

Our rental equipment provides a nitrogen purity of 99.3% and is therefore suitable only for pre-flushing Anoxia tents.

The NitroFlow Lab compact nitrogen generator is used for pest control by means of oxygen deprivation.

NitroFlow Lab Nitrogen Generator is a self-contained generator capable of producing up to 32 l/min of pure LC/MS nitrogen at an outlet pressure of up to 8 bar. The nitrogen is generated using a combined system of compressor and membrane separation technology. Oil-free, compressed air is passed through a hollow chamber membrane, which divides the air, resulting in a concentrated stream of nitrogen. High- and low-pressure compressors are adapted to the hollow chamber membrane, ensuring quiet and reliable operation.

Product Features

  • Complete "plug and play" system
  • Generates a continuous nitrogen supply
  • Free from phthalates, no organic fumes
  • 8,000 hours warranty on the compressor
  • Internal acoustic insulation ensures low-noise operation

The unique combination of two compressors gives the NitroFlow many technical advantages over other currently available LC/MS nitrogen generators.

The nitrogen is produced at low pressure and then compressed to 8 bar. This keeps the system's maintenance effort to a minimum - no filters of the compressed air need to be replaced and no contaminated condensate is produced.

Description

The NitroFlow Lab separates the compressed air generated by an on-board compressor into nitrogen and an oxygen-enriched airflow. Membranes are used for the separation system.

A: Compressed air input
B: Hollow fiber membrane
C: Nitrogen output
F: Fast penetration
S: Slow penetration

Separation principle: Ambient air consists of nitrogen (78.1%), oxygen (20.9%), argon (1%), carbon dioxide, water vapor and traces of other gases. The compressed air (A) is passed through hollow fiber membranes (B). The air components diffuse through the porous walls of the membranes. The different gases have different diffusion rates:

  • Oxygen and water vapor have a high diffusion rate and quickly diffuse through the membrane wall.
  • Nitrogen has a low diffusion rate and slowly diffuses through the membrane wall.

Nitrogen-enriched compressed air exits at membrane port (C) and can be stored in a nitrogen storage tank.
