The high precision illuminance meter is used primarily for certification and inspection applications due to its high accuracy class B rating. An additional measuring range with a high initial sensitivity of 0.01 lx enables the measurement of very low illuminance levels. Thus, even emergency lighting can be perfectly measured. Pressing the HOLD button saves the value, activates the display illumination of this version and allows reading in dark surroundings. The adaptation to the spectral brightness sensation of the human eye V (λ) is extremely precise with a deviation of only f1 '<3%.
With the optional luminance adapter with 15° measuring angle it can be used as an unclassified luminance meter. The luminance is measured in candelas per square meter (cd / m²) or footlampert (fL) and stands for the brightness effect of a luminous or reflecting surface.
As a proof of precision, a factory calibration certificate or a DAkkS calibration certificate can be provided as an option. We recommend a calibration interval of 12 to 24 months, depending on operating conditions.
